Sound familiar?

If your board has met at any of these places, you already know the problem.

A board member's living room, with a kid or a dog occasionally walking through
A coffee shop where you had to talk over the espresso machine
The library meeting room, booked weeks in advance, then lost to a kids' event
A different address every quarter, so the calendar invite gets a "where?" reply every time
A hotel meeting suite you paid $400 for, once, and never again
A board member's office at their day job, only after 5pm, only if their boss was okay with it
The back booth of a restaurant, where you ordered breakfast so they would not kick you out
A brewery's back room, which got loud at 5:30
A church basement, because one of your board members goes there
A picnic table at a park, in July

Common questions about the boardroom

What presentation equipment is in the room?

A large screen TV with an HDMI cable. Connect your laptop and you're ready to go.

Can we host remote participants?

Yes. Connect your laptop to the room's large screen TV via HDMI and run Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, or any video conferencing tool you prefer.

How long is the complimentary meeting?

Two hours. If you need more time, call us before your meeting and we'll work out options.

When can we schedule?

Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm for the complimentary meeting. Members can book 24/7. Need a different time for your first visit? Call us.

Is parking free?

Yes. We have 13 spots in our lot, overflow spots nearby, and free street parking a short walk away.

Can we reserve a parking spot for our board?

Yes. Contact us ahead of your meeting and we'll set aside a reserved spot.

Is the room wheelchair accessible?

The Dutch Oven is down a flight of stairs. Call us before booking and we'll coordinate an accessible space and schedule.

What if our meeting runs long?

We build a buffer between bookings to reset the room. If you run into it we'll let you know it's time to wrap up, and overage time is charged. Need more than two hours? Tell us when you book.

Should we erase the boards before we leave?

Please do, it helps us turn the room around quickly for the next group.

Can we bring food, snacks, or drinks?

Yes. Please take all food trash with you or discard it in the kitchen when you leave to keep the room fresh.

Can we have our meeting catered?

Yes. Please contact us so we can organize it, reserve space in the building, and make sure support staff have access.

Can we post on social media?

Yes please, and tag us! Please get approval before posting images of anyone else in the building.

Can we film in the space?

Yes. Phone and laptop shots within your reserved space are welcome. If you're bringing cameras or mounted filming equipment, we'll need a filming agreement in place beforehand.

Do I need to prove we are an Idaho nonprofit?

No. The complimentary meeting is open to any Idaho nonprofit on the honor system. Verification is only needed if you'd like to use our address as your registered business address.

Can we use the room for something other than a board meeting?

We don't limit what your group works on. The room is yours for the duration of your booking within the attendee limit. Nonprofits have used the space for board meetings, donor pitches, volunteer coordination, speaker events, and executive interviews, among other things.

How do guests know where to go?

Invited guests receive a text reminder the day of the meeting with instructions for accessing the secure entrance.

How do guests get through the door?

Guests use their phone number to scan in at the door. Only the people you've added to your meeting invitation have access.

How do I invite my board?

Through the Team Manager tool in your account. You can invite people meeting by meeting, or add recurring guests so they have access to every meeting you schedule.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes. Call us at 208.896.2210, or members can manage changes directly through their account.

Can we come back again?

Yes, we'd love to host you again. Recurring room use starts at $99/mo, or you can book one-off meetings through your account or by calling us.

Can we use other rooms in the building?

Yes. Call us to discuss options, or visit boisemaincoworkingspace.com/resource to request a room.
